Cavium' products for VPN Solutions include three NITROX product families of security processors, comprising over 20 different parts that provide an unmatched set of price, performance and power options. Performance for the NITROX products spans from 50Mbps to over 10Gbps in encryption bandwidth with 1K to 50K RSA/DH operations per second. Both look-aside processors and in-line (bump in the wire) processors are available with support for PCI, PCI-X, HyperTransport, SPI3 and SPI4.2 interfaces.
A broad range of IPsec, SSL open-source and commercial software stacks optimized to use Cavium macro-processing APIs are available to enable fast time to market. Support for a wide selection of operating systems, including Linux, FreeBSD, Windows and Vxworks is also provided along with portable drivers to integrate into proprietary OS environments.
Cavium' VPN solutions for IPsec, SSL and multiprotocol are used in a range of equipment including Broadband access gateways, VPN Gateways, Edge Routers, x86 motherboards/servers and Broadband Aggregation systems.
