OVERVIEW The PureVu® CNW5611 is a 1080p60 H.264 video processor SoC, optimized for wired and wireless home video distribution in high performance wireless HDMI receiver adapters and next generation TV panels. The highly integrated architecture of this chip enables very competitive system BOM pricing for consumer applications.
The CNW5611 combines Cavium's Super-Low-Latency (SLL) H.264 video processor, widely deployed Nitrox security technology, and intelligent networking and packet processing capabilities in a fully integrated SoC that brings the company's innovative WiVu solution to a variety of video applications, including wireless display, HDMI cable replacement, and home media distribution. The high quality video decoding and post-processing features, as well as the support for Cavium’s SLL technology makes this chip ideal for even the most stringent interactive gaming applications, and robust and high fidelity video transmission of a wide range of contents including not only movies, but also more challenging type content including text and graphics.
