Cavium family of Celestial Set Top Box processors offer industry leading integration and best price-performance for Set Top Box, Digital TV and High Definition Multimedia player applications. The Celestial CNC1201 product is a highly integrated High Definition H.264 and MPEG-2 Set Top Box SoC including conditional access, transport, picture quality processing and uses industry standard ARM CPU's. The High degree of integration deployed in the CNC1201 Set Top Box processor family is intended to provide OEMs and service providers with aggressive system bill-of-materials (BOM) cost in order to enable mass market adoption in such devices as DVB-C, DVB-S and DVB-T entry level Set Top Boxes.
